The great thing about Glen Innes.
Hello and welcome to the lush community, Glen Innes. We have the best firework displays, restaurants, and shopping areas but first, we must look at the history of this wonderful community. In 1862 William Innes Taylor found this wonderful community and named it Glen Innes. When Matariki hits this place comes to life as there are heaps of light shows and firework displays. We also have some of the best restaurants in the world (KFC just saying).
Taylor was first born in 1821. He was an Indian, Scottish farmer until he moved to NZ to farm and make a home. He started to make more homes for other people and named his running town Glen Innes. Glen Taylor is also named after William Innes Taylor.
